(Chicago) – May 10, 2012. Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker holds a narrow lead over his Democratic challenger, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in Wisconsin’s special recall election.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker leads in new poll.
A new Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey shows that 50% of the state’s Likely Voters prefer Walker while 45% choose Barrett.
Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate and another two percent (2%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The survey of 500 Likely Voters in Wisconsin was conducted on May 9, 2012 by Rasmussen Reports.
The margin of sampling error is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
